When you are in Microsoft Office, Powerpoint
Go to "Save as"
Where it says "save as/document type", choose JPEG image.
It will ask you if you want to save all the slides as JPEG images, Choose YES.
It will put all your slides in a folder.
Go to www.blogger.com and log on to your blog.
Choose your history blog and select "Layout"
Choose "Add a Gadget"
Choose "Picture"
You will choose "Browse from your computer" and find your folder with all your powerpoint slides
You will start uploading with the last slide of the presentation.
For example, Choose Slide 6 if this is the last slide. Then do 5, then 4 and so on until you have all of the slides uploaded.
Go to "view blog" to make sure all your slides were uploaded correctly.

Project: Industrial Revolution and Technology today
We started working on a research project today. I am attaching a link to this project and pasting the instructions below.

The Industrial Revolution and Technology today
For this project, you will create a powerpoint presentation describing an invention created during the industrial revolution and how it is linked to current technological advances.
Steps:
1. Research one invention during the industrial revolution.
2. Write five sentences answering these questions:
• What is the name of the invention?
• What year was it invented?
• Who invented it?
• Why was it important?
• How does it connect with modern technology?
3. Research one modern technological invention.
4. Write five sentences about this modern invention:
• What is the name of the invention?
• What year was it invented?
• Who invented it?
• Why is it important?
• How has this invention changed society?
5. Write a first draft of your research using the outline on the back of this page and type it out on your blog.
6. Create a four or five slide powerpoint presentation of your research. Each project should include:
• Title of project and your name
• 4-5 slides describing your research and answering the above questions
• Visual representations of each invention
• Works cited slide listing the name and url of each website that you used to do your research.
7. Upload your powerpoint presentation to your blog.
